So I hikes Cat and Thomas mountains today I did the loop counterclockwise like
Makwa
suggested. Thomas was fast and quite easy and yes I bushwhacked to the summit or at least what was the summit according to my phone. The hike to Cat was nice and not to steep and there was barely any mud on this hike which was nice but I feel if I don’t get muddy did I really hike? The views from Cat were much better than Thomas and it was nice to see the Lake from the west side. On the summit I found a milk snake just chilling on a boulder so I has to pick him up and her was very docile and didn’t try to bite at all. I had a lady take a pic of me with the snake and she didn’t care for but she still took the pic. Overall another nice hike and now I have 6 of the Lake George 12 done.
