Did my first ADK hike yesterday doing Hadley. This was a very nice short and not to steep hike . It was nice to feel that burn in my legs and get back to the mountains. Lots of open bedrock on the trail which was wet from rain. Had the Summit to myself and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Nice views from the tower but didn’t stay long as it was windy and I don’t like being on a tower when it’s windy. This was my 12th fire tower snd of the easier ones in y opinion.
