Summary

A summer hike up Hunter Mountain from Route 214 with two first-time Catskills visitors. The weather was hazy from Canadian wildfires but clear enough for views from the fire tower, and the group had a successful outing without thunderstorms.

Catskills 3 weeks in a row for me. That's a record for me these days. In the summer no less. I took two guys who had never been there and everything worked out. My plan worked. The thunderstorms never came and the Canadian wildfires were never that bad. It was a hazy day but the sun was out and we had some semi obscured views from the fire tower. Changed it up and hit that bbq joiint before the Thruway. Back to Jersey. 3 weeks in a row three hikes in a row. Plateau, Bearpen/Vly & Hunter. Thanks for reading
