Made it out there yesterday with my hiking buddy TBPDPTI. The rain had stopped by the time we started circa 7:45am but the woods and ground were still plenty wet. We parked at the gate on CR10 along with two other trucks. The hunters are definitely out there, and we saw one about 100' off the trail/road on our way up. Wear your orange! There's a whole network of old roads in this area and some common sense will get you to just under the actual summit. From there it's a short and steep bushwhack with traces of incipient herd paths. The summit didn't offer much in the way of views but that didn't really matter since we were still socked in. We followed the same route down and it snowed on us for about 30 seconds. The blue skies were out by the time we reached the car. #77/102.
