On the 2nd we made the drive to Waterville Valley, for the relatively easy hike of Tecumseh. I've hiked Tecumseh past, but both times were from Tripoli road. I wasn't sure what to expect with the short distance, and following the side of the ski resort, but I didn't find the trail to be too steep. We started out bare-booting, and put on spikes when the ice became an issue.

It was a warm and sunny day, and we probably should have been on a more open summit, but we had a time crunch, so we opted for the short hike. We did get to relax for a short time in the sun in the parking lot, before driving to Vermont, and eventually back to the Adirondacks.
