The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) today announced the planned temporary closure of the parking lot on Manitou Beach Road at Braddock Bay Wildlife Management Area (WMA), Monroe County. The closure is due to a paving project to improve the conditions of the parking area. The parking lot will be closed beginning Sunday, May 10, 2026, with an anticipated reopening on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
