A mostly easy-to-navigate route featuring Wright, Algonquin, and Iroquois peaks in the MacIntyre Range. The trail follows MacIntyre Brook initially, includes some technical scrambling and steep slab climbing, and offers exceptional views from the three summits. Wright Peak is noted as particularly windy and requires relentless steep slab climbing from the junction.</summary> <parameter name="confidence">Low

The Avalanche Pass Trail has been closed indefinitely following a major landslide triggered by intense rainfall in mid-July that destroyed the trail corridor between Lake Arnold and Avalanche Lake. Multiple peaks accessed via this route (Algonquin, Colden, Marcy, Skylight, Gray) are no longer accessible via their typical loop routes, though some remain accessible as out-and-back hikes.

A bushwhacking trip on November 18 to Table Top Mountain (4427') and its Middle peak (4306'), undertaken in fresh snow with excellent visibility. The hiker found deep drifts, thick vegetation, and cliff bands with icicles, but manageable terrain and safe workarounds throughout the off-trail ascent and descent.

A two-day backpacking trip to Mount Colden following a severe thunderstorm and flash flooding. The trail from Avalanche Lake was extremely wet with knee-deep water, mud, and cascading water over rock slabs; a ranger warned of recent rescues from slippery conditions and a serious incident on the trap dike.

A weekend backpacking trip to Lower Wolfjaw, Upper Wolfjaw, and Armstrong via Johns Brook Lodge, with snow patches and scrambling sections at higher elevations and typical muddy, rooty Adirondack trail conditions lower down. The party encountered mixed weather including rain overnight and afternoon clouds, with good summit views from Armstrong.

A day hike of Whiteface and Esther starting from the Atmospheric Science Research Centre parking in Wilmington. Zero visibility at Whiteface summit; the trail featured steep initial ascent, rock scrambles, open slabs, and loose rock on the descent. Esther's summit was fully treed with no views, and the connecting trail between peaks was muddy and took longer than expected.
